I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM based in Solihull who are seeking a Discrete Event Simulation Lead to join their team

Job Description

As Discrete Event Simulation Lead your main responsibilities are:

• Ability to use the software "WITNESS"
• Generation of DES models, from concept modelling to fully detailed mimic of the programme / system that meet the design scope, operating principals, performance metrics, safety, quality, delivery, cost, people and environment objectives are met.
• Support optimisation of the DES model against different model derivative mixes and operational parameters.
• Guide the process to adhere to the vehicle derivative sequencing and build to sequence rules
• Support the continual development of tools and techniques which enhance capability, improve quality and robustness of DES models

Qualifications / Skills needed

• Must be able to use the software "WITNESS" or Siemens Technomatix Plant Simulation toolset
• Working knowledge and experience of Discrete Event Simulation toolset
• An effective team player, who helps develop and support team members
• High levels of personal resilience, integrity and honesty as well as humility for the team.
