About the company

Contechs are recruiting on behalf of their client who are known for manufacturing luxury hand-crafted motorcycles. They are looking for Senior Design Consultant to join their expanding team on a Contract basis. The role will be based in Solihull.

Job Description

As Senior Design Consultant your main responsibilities are:

• Manufacturing experience desirable
• Able to make decisions tolerancing, clearances, material sections
• Robust, proven feasibility assessment skills within APQP framework including DFMEA, DFA/DFM, DVP,
• Component planning and PPAP

Qualifications / Skills needed

• Creo and Windchill CAD design experience
• 10+ years' experience in automotive or motorcycle Powertrain engineering systems
• Datums and GD&T knowledge
• Drawing layout knowledge.
• Design and Release of component systems
