I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM based in Gaydon who are seeking a Human Factors Subject Matter Expert to join their team on a Contract basis.

Job Description

As Human Factors Subject Matter Expert your main responsibilities are:

• Human Factors Subject Matter Expert
• The person in this role is responsible for ensuring that user controls fitted to the Clients' vehicles meet the Human Factors Ergonomics requirements for aspects such as Discoverability, Physical Usability, Clearance, Legibility, Thermal Comfort, Inadvertent Operation, Reach and Visibility.

Qualifications / Skills needed

• Experience in Human Factors, Ergonomics, Anthropometrics, User-Centred Design, Product Design, User Experience Design or a related field, educated to degree level.
• Ability to analyse data, drawing appropriate conclusions and inferences.
• Knowledge of CAD software (e.g. CATIA / 3D Experience), Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of whole vehicle engineering.
• Ability to communicate concepts and issues clearly.
