About the company

They are seeking an experienced Exterior Lighting Engineer who has a strong back in CAD and Lighting on a Contract basis. The role will be based in Buckinghamshire.

Job Description

As Exterior Lighting CAD Engineer your main responsibilities are:

• Create and review 3D layouts to communicate and confirm exterior lighting assembly designs.
• Provide project leadership by establishing schedule, deliverables, priorities, etc. for a team of designers.
• Provide technical expertise. Understand and ensure designs meet technical requirements.
• Collaborate with styling teams to set feasible directions and fix final designs
• Lead part design with suppliers, set design targets, and confirm final design drawings
• Skilled in Catia v5
• Knowledge of fundamental engineering concepts and terminology, the units of measurement and their interrelationship common to all branches of engineering
• Effective communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)
