Job Description

As CAE Analyst / Modeler your main responsibilities are:

• WP1 - Front End Development
• Provide part meshing for the front end package
• Support part development by providing localised runs to enable iterations
• Assist in material card definition and creation for non-structural items
• Lead provision of mounting points and data to support full vehicle modelling
• WP2 - Side Impact Mitigation
• Provide part meshing for the door and interior
• Support part development by providing localised runs to enable iterations
• Assist in material card definition for interior trim, if needed, and glass
• Lead provision of mounting points and data to support full vehicle modelling
• WP3 - Rear Impact Management
• Mesh the ICE and powertrain system
• Update models to accommodate defined mounting strategies and information provided by external suppliers
• Support iterations as required and localised changes
• Note: WPs are not necessarily chronological, hence the need for onsite support and flexibility

Qualifications / Skills needed

• Min 5 years' experience in Automotive LS-Dyna CAE analysis.
• Min 2 years' experience in exterior CAE and crash load cases
• Experience in Meshing and Model Build as well as running analysis
• Proactive in demonstrating and agreeing (with the wider team) load case, material and constraint assumptions to progress the project and development.
• Confident in leading CAE meetings and coordinating cross functional teams
• Experience in liaising with third parties and suppliers
• Min 2 years' experience in supercar or hypercar engineering
• Experience in both vehicle and sub-system analysis
• Experience of composites

Nice to Have Criteria:

• Previous experience of working in Denmark or other Scandinavian countries
• Start-up experience
• Homologation and legislation knowledge. Small - medium series
• Experience in front end development, side impact requirements and experience, rear impact experience and knowledge
