Chinese car maker Omoda has officially launched in the UK, opening its doors at over 60 dealerships across the country.
Initially offering two mid-sized crossover SUVs, the ICE-powered 5 and all-electric E5, Omoda aims to enter the highly competitive SUV market with innovative technology and an affordable price tag, with a starting price of only £25,235 for the petrol model.
Omoda joins a growing list of new OEMs entering the UK automotive market as the industry transitions to electric vehicles. The Chery-owned manufacturer already operates in more than 40 markets globally and is setting its sights on over 20 more within the next three years.
In a fast-moving industry with new car makers emerging every year, Contechs acts as a strategic partner, supporting several new manufacturers to design and engineer the vehicles of tomorrow.
