An ultra-fast charger advertising one kilometre of range for every second it charges has been introduced by Huawei in Shenzhen, China.
The global technology company is aiming to bridge the gap between the speed of current electric vehicle (EV) chargers and conventional refueling by providing ultra-fast chargers, with plans to roll out 100,000 stations across China this year. This includes 250-kilowatt chargers, while chargers in Shenzhen have also been seen with “600kW” written below the Huawei logo.
Contechs continues to expand its electrification offering to both established global OEMs and start-ups, providing innovative engineering expertise across a range of EV projects.
