BMW has provided insights into its future developments in artificial intelligence (AI) and augmented reality (AR) at the Consumer Electronic Show (CES).
The Las Vegas technology event is a global stage for innovation, with many automotive manufacturers in attendance to showcase their latest technological advancements. The in-car digital experience was a dominant theme of BMW’s presence at the event, with the German manufacturer letting visitors experience augmented reality glasses as a passenger during a journey and discover new generative AI capabilities of the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant, powered by the Alexa large language model (LLM).
These advancements signal a future led by a digitally connected in-car experience, with BMW showcasing its intention to develop AI and AR technology to empower and expand the capabilities of its future vehicles.
