NIO Founder and CEO William Li has achieved a groundbreaking milestone, driving the NIO ET7 over 1,000km on a single charge with the OEM’s Ultra Long Range 150kWh battery.
The 14-hour journey from Shanghai to Xiamen showcased the battery’s potential, using 97% of its capacity in cold temperatures. The 150kWh battery features a no thermal propagation design and sets a high standard for mass-produced car battery packs in China and across the globe.
This achievement follows news of NIO introducing its pioneering battery swap technology into Europe, adding to the 2,000+ Power Swap Stations it already operates in China.
