Toyota has revealed an electric sports car concept at the Tokyo auto show.
Named the FT-Se, the concept car shares components with the FT-3e crossover, embodying Toyota's ultra-compact battery architecture. Sporting GR branding, the FT-Se may join the performance lineup alongside the Supra and GR86. The interior has not been confirmed yet, but Toyota pledges a brand new instrument panel. If produced, the FT-Se could contend with top end electric models from Porsche, Lotus, and Alpine.
Contechs is currently supporting several global OEMs with the development of EV platform and electrification technology.
