Chinese electric cars, being cheaper than their counterparts anywhere else, are gaining ground in Europe, Australia and Southeast Asia, sparking concerns that they could dominate the global EV market.
With China becoming the world’s top auto exporter and a significant EV progress, their market share could double by 2030. A substantial advantage lies in their dominant position in the EV battery supple chain, ensuring competitive production costs, which was on display at the IAA Mobility auto show in Munich.
