Tesla has now created alliances with Ford, Rivian, GM and Volvo to use its NACS EV charging network. This partnership will allow OEM customers access to Tesla's 12,000 charging points in addition to the thousands of existing chargers the OEM brands already have access to. VW is also in talks to adopt the Tesla NACS standard port for its EV range.
Volvo, the first European carmaker to sign such an agreement with Tesla, also said, beginning in 2025, its cars will come equipped with Tesla's North American Charging Standard port.
