About the company

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a client who are creating exceptional cars that blend British elegance with ferocious intelligence to forge a new legacy, forever. They are looking for an experienced Senior engineer on their body structures to join their team on a long term rolling contract

42 hours per week

6 month rolling

Outside IR35

As Senior Engineer - Body Structures your main responsibilities are:

• Project Engineer
• Large Scale Mega Castings - Experience
• Concept / Package
• 5turn on and spin / review Catia V5 design experience
• Body structures/ Body (BIW / Panels)
• Aluminium castings/ Aluminium extrusions
• A positive, proactive and flexible mindset
• Basic mechanical, material and production knowledge.
• Good level of technical capability.
• Familiarity with body structure construction methods and materials, including metals, plastics.
• Awareness of component manufacturing techniques casting, pressing, extrusion, joining and fastening methods.
• Experience in delivery of engineering releases
