Job Description

As Senior Design Engineer your main responsibilities are:

• Apply engineering principles to the design and development of components and assemblies, ensuring effective material and manufacturing process selection.
• Develop designs with considerations for ease of assembly and manufacturability, optimizing the production process.
• Identify potential risks in design and development and implement strategies to mitigate them.
• Detect and address engineering problems, finding practical and innovative solutions.
• Create, evaluate, and apply relevant analysis and testing methods to ensure design effectiveness and reliability.
• Work closely with the supply chain to ensure alignment with design requirements and manufacturing capabilities.

Qualifications / Skills needed

• Degree or higher qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years in automotive design engineering, with practical, hands-on experience in mechanical engineering.
• Essential experience with CREO software.
• Understanding of motorcycle whole vehicle design and knowledge of Design for Manufacture (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
• Experience with various materials and manufacturing processes.
• Previous experience in the motorcycle industry is desirable but not required.
