Position Title: Propulsion Build Supervisor

Duration: 5 Months Rolling Contract

Location: Lyons Park, Coventry

Division: Engineering Operations

Position Description

  • Supporting production and supervising the battery build team and meeting delivery target.
  • The role of the Propulsion supervisor is to enable continuous improvement of the prototype battery build process by providing technical and supervisory leadership to the team in order to exceed expectations.
  • This will involve resolving any issues identified with the prototype battery build process while ensuring that all members of the team maintain high levels of valid, technical competency in line with E-Learn 554097 Assessment of Competence and SP-060M.
  • They will drive forward the prototype battery build process to ensure a world class product is delivered on time, to specification at cost and proud creators of modern luxury

Essential skills

  • Understand safe systems of work
  • Indigital, Computer literate, including tableau, Jira, Microsoft Office and Excel competency to produce plans, reports, presentations, graphs, processes and SPL documents
  • Proven experience and understanding of facilities, processes, equipment and manufacturing assembly processes

Experience/qualifications

  • Functional Skills Level 2 or equivalent in English, Maths and Science
  • Proven experience and understanding of facilities, processes, equipment and leading technologies
  • Clear and confident communicator both orally and in writing
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn new systems and processes
  • Ability to accurately and concisely present complex technical ideas or project issues to a diverse audience
  • Ability to analyse build assembly books and strip down procedures.
  • Understand safe systems of work
  • Ability to challenge existing thinking in a positive way whilst building credibility and trust through experience and personal style
