Position: Powertrain Lead Engineer

Job Description

As Powertrain Lead Engineer your main responsibilities are:

• Scope of work or 4 week study:
• Initial Study / Package for 2WD variant of the product.
• Review existing CAD package and propose the expected minimum changes required to create a 2WD variant
• Consider how this can be done to maximise common components between AWD and 2WD variants
• E-Axle to be removed as part of this study
• Initial Add/Delete list / PMXU to be created
• For unique components / systems - propose suppliers and high level cost estimates for changes / new inclusions
• Provide a presentation with initial suggestions for DVP / validation implications for an optional 2WD variant (the Agil)
• List expected additional tests / sign-off required to deliver this variant
• The Clients' homologation support required

Qualifications / Skills needed

• Drivetrain experience
• Basic user of CATIA V5 or at minimum CATIA v5 viewing software
• Supercar / Hypercar experience
• Experience creating BOMS / Add and Delete lists
• Experience creating or working with DVPs
