Position Title: PFS Manager

Job Purpose

• This position is responsible for Planning and Setup of Automation for all shops of the Client, which includes following steps.
• Conceptualize, plan, estimate the Electrical Planning for the Whole Client Shops
• Prepare Automation Standards for the Client considering Smart Digital Factory with latest technologies to improve and monitor the efficiency

Roles & Responsibilities

• Initiate and make technical Evaluation of Supplier in the Purchasing process.
• Support Electrical design review (E-plan) by co coordinating with all stake holders.
• Develop the Control Standards which can be used in All Shops of the Client
• Handover lines to Production team in SOP condition resolving the open points.
• Continue in taking part innovative new technology implementation and critical production (capacity enhancement) issue resolution.
• Support all ME Functions in Implementing IOT Projects (By Creating/Providing Necessary Data to Upper-level Systems)
• Implement Middle ware Systems to Produce data required, Secure connections.
• Interface with IT team, for all MES, IOT, I4.0 Functions
• Network Architecture Development
• Torque Tool Network implementation, Traceability concepts development.
• Drive Safety Concepts and develop safety evaluation criteria.

Budget

• Initiate and make technical Evaluation of Supplier in the Purchasing process.
• Track the spending on budget allocated for each Project.

Authority

• Drive Automation Standards and Controls for all Shops
• Approval of E-plan for facilities in All Shops of the Client
• Certification for completion of electrical works- Hardware and Software done by line builders.
• Control & Direct Line builder/Partners in-coordination with the respective Shop ME Managers.
• Decide standards and Electrical components in coordination with multiple stake holders for the factory.
• Selection of Suitable relevant state of the art Smart Manufacturing technologies
• Define and Drive the Interface standards with IT systems.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

• Prepare line station wise Eplanning / Automation concepts for conveyor, All shops and related sub-assemblies.
• Develop the communication protocol and decide Electrical standards.
• Participate, Brainstorm, and bring alternatives during concept approvals.
• Support area planners for Estimation of Budget, Investments from Electricals and automation related areas
• Create RFQ covering all requirements covering all standards for Electrical, Automation, take part and provide clarification across all suppliers and make sure all the technical points are captured in their commercial offer. Clarify technical queries from suppliers.
• Prepare the Media Calculation before adding new fixture and equipment to existing line.
• Inform the Line planner / Utility teams about the New additional loads on transformer, Air/water requirements for the new projects.
• Carryout design approval process for Controls & automation i.e. hardware selection, software methodology finalisation
• Support in Conducting stringent buy off, VTTO and Inspection during tool try-out.

People Management

• Manage Suppliers and Vendors for All Deliverables related to Controls and Automation
• Manage ESP Suppliers on boarded for Controls & Automation related tasks.

Education:

• Diploma/ Graduates /Master graduates

Skills & Competencies:

• PLC Automation, HMI Development, ePlan, Controls Standard Development, Industry 4.0, IT/OT Integration.

Minimum Experience:

• 15+ Years for Graduates / 20+ Years for Diploma / 10+ years for Master graduates
