Job Description

As Mechanical Design Engineer your main responsibilities are:

• Proficient in CATIA V6 for 3D modelling and 2D drawing creation.
• Deep understanding of metallurgical principles, including alloy selection, heat treatment, and failure analysis.
• Proficiency in simulation tools such as FEA and CFD related to casting processes.
• Experience with quality control techniques, including NDT

Qualifications / Skills needed

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in large-scale casting metallurgy within heavy machinery, automotive, or aerospace industries. Catia v6
• Proven track record in designing and developing large cast metal components.
• Familiarity with the requirements of off-highway and heavy earth-moving equipment.
• Experience with EV and autonomous vehicle systems is a plus
