Position: Materials Planning & Logistics Senior Analyst

Sector: Manufacturing

Location: Ryton / Solihull / Castle Bromwich - 5 days on site

Position Type: 12 - 18 month contract

Inside / Outside IR35: Inside IR35

Salary: £31.70ph

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM based in Ryton who are seeking a Materials Planning & Logistics Senior Analyst to join their team

Job Description

As Materials Planning & Logistics Senior Analyst your main responsibilities are:

  • To support the team where required, both the support and warehouse functions
  • Co-ordinate MP&L records and key business documents inc., Scorecards, Safety Plans, Six Panels
  • Lead audit readiness activity both internal and external UTAC audits
  • Support logistic strategy reviews
  • Support ad hoc RFU activity, lead critical supply reviews and report out
  • Create, implement, and approve local processes operational process
  • Create & implement best practise (policies, processes & guidelines) in line with the Clients' Way
  • Champion audit readiness, lead internal and external UTAC audits, closing out any NC's
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement via Lessons Learned
  • Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested from time to time

Qualifications / Skills needed

  • Have a thorough, logical and structured approach to problem solving, with high attention to detail
  • Can Demonstrate / has proven ability within a senior MP&L role
  • Proactive and pick things up quickly
  • Highly driven individual with proven project management and leadership skills, able to build, motivate and lead cross functional teams to resolve cross-functional issues
  • A leader who can demonstrate a high level of motivation and resourcefulness
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
