Position: Junior Assembly Technician

Our client is seeking a positive, enthusiastic individual to become a key member of a growing engineering team based in Birmingham.

The Role

• Role of Assembly Technician will include; Assembly of electronic key cabinets and locker systems
• Building wiring harnesses
• Testing PCB's with pre-built test rigs
• Deploying software onto the machines and commissioning
• Stock control using the company MRP system
• Document control
• Quality control
• Defect analysis

The role will also give exposure to;

• Installation opportunities on client sites (car dealerships and national fleet operators primarily) when the install team require additional support
• Test house project management and processes for EMC, Electrical and destruction testing to ensure compliance to UKCA, FCC and CE regulations
• Must have a UK driving licence as they will be required to move parts between the sites from time to time in a company van.
