I am currently recruiting on behalf of a state-of-the-art engineering business located in Birmingham who are seeking an Assembly Technician with enthusiasm and drive who are willing to join the small team but create am impact within the business.
Job Description
As Assembly Technician your main responsibilities are:
- Assembly of electronic key cabinets and locker systems
- Building wiring harnesses
- Testing PCB's with pre-built test rigs
- Deploying software onto the machines and commissioning
- Stock control using the company MRP system
Qualifications / Skills needed
- Installation opportunities on client sites (car dealerships and national fleet operators primarily) when the install team require additional support
- Test house project management and processes for EMC, Electrical and destruction testing to ensure compliance to UKCA, FCC and CE regulations
- Must have a UK driving licence as they will be required to move parts between the sites from time to time in a company van
